Application for NEET 2024

  • NTA will only offer the option of filling out the application form online.
  • While filling out the application, candidates must have a valid mobile number and email address because they will be confirmed through an OTP.
  • Beginning in the first week of March 2024, the NEET UG 2024 application form will be accessible.
  • Steps in the application procedure include filling out the application form, attaching supporting papers, and paying the money.
  • Candidates must upload their photos, signatures, fingerprints from their left and right hands, thumbprints, and any other required documents in the format required.
  • Only in some specifics can NTA also offer the correctional facility.
  • The application form must be filed by the first week of April 2024.
  • The registered Email ID will receive a copy of the confirmation page after the application has been submitted in its entirety.

NEET 2024 eligibility criteria

Before registering for the NEET exam, students must make sure they meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Age Criteria: Applicants must be at least 17 years old on or before December 31st of the admission year.
  • There won’t be an age restriction for the NEET exam, according to the NMC.
  • Nationality: Applicants may be an Indian Citizen, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI), an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), or a Foreign National.
  • Qualification Exam: You must pass a qualifying exam from any reputable board that is equivalent to the 12th grade. Candidates who are appearing may also apply.
  • Subjects: In the qualifying test, candidates must take Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
  • Percentage: Passing the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% for general/EWS and 40% for reserved categories is required.
  • Candidates must also pass the NEET exam if they plan to enroll in UG medical programs at foreign colleges or universities.
  • For admission, there is a 15% All India Quota available for applicants from the UTs of J&K and Ladakh.

Application Fee:

Payment for the application fee will be made online through a payment gateway (such as net Banking, a credit card, a debit card, or UPI, for example).

There won’t be an offline option for paying the fee.

The candidate is responsible for covering any processing fees and Goods and Services Tax (GST), as determined by the appropriate authority.

NEET 2024 Application Process

The application process for NEET UG 2024 is outlined below in step-by-step detail:

  • Step 1: Go to the NEET UG 2024 official website.
  • Step 2: Select “NEET (UG) 2024 Registration”
  • Step 3: Select the “New Registration” button.
  • Step 4: Fill out the registration form completely and press the “Submit” button.
  • Step 5: Fill out the remaining information in the application after receiving the application number.
  • Step 6: Upload the necessary documents in the application form.
  • Step 7: Use an online payment method to submit your application cost.
  • Step 8: The confirmation page will be generated after the fee has been paid.
  • Step 9: Print the confirmation paper and save it for later use.                            

NEET Exam Pattern for 2024

Here are the specifics of the NEET 2024 exam’s exam pattern:

  • Mode: The test will be administered using a pen and paper format.
  • Duration: The exam will last a total of three hours and twenty minutes.
  • Language: A total of 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, & Urdu, will be used for the exam.
  • Type of Questions: There will be multiple choice questions (MCQs) on the NEET exam. The question paper’s Section B will include options.
  • Marking System: Each right answer will receive 4 points.
  • Negative Marking: Each wrong answer will result in a loss of one mark.

Application Correction for NEET 2024

NTA will open the correctional facility following the completion of the application form filling process. The rectification period for NEET 2024 applications will begin in April 2024. Only in select instances will there be online correction facility available.

Candidates must carefully consider the question paper’s media because it cannot be changed afterward. Corrections will be made by logging in and entering the necessary login information. Candidates have the allotted time to revise their application.            

NEET Syllabus for 2024

Admit Card for NEET 2024

Several days before the test, the NEET Admit Card 2024 will be made available. In the final week of April 2024, it will be released. One must log in using their application number, password, or D.O.B. and password in order to download the admission card. Candidates are urged to safeguard their login information for convenience.

Before admit cards, the authority will also distribute an exam city slip. It must be downloaded because it will be just as crucial as the entrance ticket. All exam-related information, including the candidate’s name, roll number, exam time, location, and instructions, is contained on the admit card. Candidates must read the instructions carefully and adhere to them in order to avoid being disqualified from the exam. A student must arrive at the exam site with their admission card and one form of identification.

NEET 2024 Answer Key

The NEET 2024 answer key will be made accessible online. Within a week of the exam, NTA will release the NEET Answer Key. The official will first make the tentative answer key public. Additionally, applicants will have a limited window of opportunity to object to the provisional answer key. Once that window has passed, the official answer key will be made available.

Results for NEET 2024

NEET Cutoff 2024

The various institutions & government body will each independently issue the NEET 2024 cut off criterion. The minimum score needed to pass the exam is known as the cutoff mark. It will be created separately for general, SC, ST, and OBC categories.

Along with the results, the NEET cut off will be made public. The scores earned, the exam’s level of difficulty, the availability of seats, the cutoff from the previous year, and other variables all determine the cutoff. NEET 2024 Counseling
