The MAT (Management Aptitude Test) 2024 is a challenging entryway into some of the most renowned business schools and management programs in the fiercely competitive field of management education. The MAT 2024 Exam, a standardized test designed to determine a candidate’s aptitude for management and business education, is given by the All India Management Association (AIMA).

Registration for MAT 2024

Below, we’ve included all the information you need to know about the MAT 2024 application process:

  • Candidates must only submit their applications for the exam online. There won’t be an offline mode available.
  • The MAT 2024 registration process will begin during the final week of March 2024.
  • Candidates must fill out the registration form with the required information, including personal, academic, and other information.
  • Candidates must upload a scanned copy of their passport-size photo and signature in the required format after completing the requested information.
  • Apply online and pay the registration money to finish the registration process.
  • Candidates are recommended to complete the registration process before the deadline because the authorities will deactivate the registration link otherwise.
  • Take a hard copy of the registration form for future use after submitting the application.

Application Fee:

  • The MAT 2024 application fee can only be paid online.
  • Debit card, credit card, and net banking will be the available online payment methods for submitting the fee.
  • All applicants will receive a refund of their application money.
  • Candidates must deposit the application fee in the manner described below in order to register for the entrance exam:

Application Process for MAT 2024

  • Step 1: Go to the MAT website (a link will be supplied above).
  • Step 2: If you want to apply to obtain an OTP for verification, enter a valid email address and mobile number.
  • Step 3: Log in using the assigned details to finish the registration process.
  • Step 4: To finish the process, choose the exam style, test cities, payment method, and other information.
  • Step 5: Upload scanned copies of the required documents, including a current color photo and a black pen signature on white paper.
  • Step 6: Complete the personal, educational, and professional information, as well as your preferences for management institutions (MI).
  • Step 7: Click the “Submit” button to submit the information.
  • Step 8: Print off the completed application form for future use.         

Eligibility Criteria for MAT 2024

Candidates must review the eligibility requirements for the MAT before filling out the application form, which are listed below:

  • Qualification: Candidates must be graduates of an accredited university in any field to be considered.
  • Number of Attempts: There won’t be any restrictions on how many times you can take the exam.

Exam Pattern for MAT 2024

The MAT 2024 exam’s exam pattern is shown below:

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be given in computer-based test (CBT), paper-based test (PBT), and internet-based test (IBT) formats.
  • Duration: Total time allotted for exam completion is two and a half hours.
  • Section:  The exam will be divided into a total of five sections.
  • Total Questions: There will be 200 total questions in the test.
  • Type of Questions: There will be multiple choice questions (MCQs) on the exam.
  • Marking System: One mark will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 0.25 points will be deducted.

Admit Card for MAT 2024

Before every exam mode, AIMA will provide the MAT 2024 admission cards for the enrolled candidates. About two to three days before to the exam, an admit card will be provided. The admit card is anticipated to be made available in the third week of May 2024.

Only candidates who have enrolled will be able to access their dashboards and obtain their admit cards by entering their registered email address and password. The admission card and a legitimate photo ID must be carried by all registered applicants. Without a valid admission card & a valid ID proof, no applicants will be permitted to attend in the exam.

MAT 2024 Exam Result

In the month of June 2024, the MAT score 2024 results will be released. It will only be made available online. The results of the PBT, CBT, and IBT modes will be made public on the AIMA website.

The login information, such as the application form number and the candidates’ roll number, will be used to get the MAT scorecard 2024. The results will only be valid from the exam session that the applicants select for one year.

MAT 2024 Cutoff

The MAT cut off 2024 will be made available on each institution’s website that is a participating institute. It will only be made available online. The MAT cut off for these institutes varies based on a number of variables, including the number of seats available, the number of students that applied, previous cut offs, etc.

Candidates will only be contacted for the Group Discussion/Personal Interview phase if they meet the cutoff. The cutoff for the best MBA schools will probably be higher than 90 percentile. The minimum score needed to participate in the admissions process will be the cut off.
