Over the course of more than 72 years, XLRI has conducted the computer-based Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT). Every year in January, there is an entrance exam at the national level. Over one lakh people register for the XAT each year, and over 70,000 of them show up for the test.
More than 160 institutions, such as TAPMI, IMT, and other colleges in the XAMI network, accept XAT in addition to XLRI and 11 other universities in the network for admission to post-graduate management programs. The PGDM courses provided at XLRI’s campuses are exclusively open to students with valid XAT scores; no other forms of admission are accepted.
XAT 2024 will take place from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm over the course of one three-hour and thirty-minute period. In addition to four sections (VA, DM, QADI) and a two-part essay question (General Knowledge and Essay Writing), the XAT 2024 will contain four sections.

Eligibility Criteria for XAT 2024
In order to register for the exam, a candidate needs to fulfill the necessary requirements in order to appear in XAT 2024. This is the XAT eligibility requirement:
- Applicants must have graduated from a recognized university with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline that takes three years or more to complete.
- Applicants must be final year students who will graduate by June 10, 2024.

Documents Required for XAT 2024

- The photo file should be between 20 and 50 KB in size.

Marking Scheme for XAT 2024
- For each right answer: +1 point
- For each wrong answer: -0.25 points
- For each question left unanswered after 8 the deduction is -0.1.
- Following the short listing process, the essay question will receive a separate mark.
The syllabus for XAT 2024
There is an essay question and four sections in the XAT 2024 syllabus. The essay question is evaluated only after being shortlisted and is not taken into account when calculating the XAT percentage score. These are the primary subjects that applicants need to study for XAT 2024.

Admit Card for XAT 2024
The XAT admit card can be downloaded from the official website starting on December 20, 2023, up until the exam day, for applicants who have successfully registered for the exam. The admit card will not be sent in physical copy, thus candidates will need to print it themselves. On the day of the exam, candidates are required to bring their XAT admit card.
